History
Nigel opened the garage in Newbrough 27 years ago in 1980, working on all makes of cars and four wheel drives but specialising in Land Rovers, doing everything from routine maintenance to building one-off special vehicles for customers.
Over the years we became more and more Land Rover orientated and now we only take on vehicles manufactured by Land Rover.
Evolution
As Land Rovers have evolved over the years, they have become more and more technical. Gone are the days when you could fix anything on a Land Rover with a set of spanners and a hammer! As well as being able to maintain complex four wheel drive systems, today's Land Rover techician needs to be able to interpret data from networked ECU's using sophisticated electronic diagnostic equipment.
The Present
Nigel Price 4 Wheel Drive is right up to date, with Land Rover's on-line GTR (Global Technical Reference) system for all the latest service information, technical bulletins and T4 and IDS (intergrated diagnostic system) as used by the main dealer network. All to give you the best possible support for your Land Rover.
As well as carrying out routine repairs and servicing, more and more of our work is in the electronic diagnostic area, and increasingly Land Rovers are being brought to us by other garages and dealers, (including serveral with new vehicle franchises!) That's fine by us - there's nothing we like more than diagnosing and curing a tricky electronic problem.
